i miss singapore!!

ive been busy this week and havent had time to write in my own journal. the first session of kids had come and go and tomorrow (sunday, 26th june) will be the 2nd batch. my gosh, its no joke taking care of 18 kids (24 the next week). except for my me-time, ive had little time to do my own things/get away from the kids. its so peaceful during me-time coz usu we'll go to the staff lounge and thats free of kids. when its time for them to sleep, we have to do some paperwork (or usu none coz its hard to do stuff with just a torchlight. and i want to sleep too.

the 1st day, i had to talk to 2 homesick and crying kids (1 fr my own unit, 1 who was sitting at my table during dinner. see, even meal time is dangerous..) in total, i talked to bout 6 kids who were homesick during the week. its also tough to find common grounds coz we have diff culture and hobbies..

but they can be lovely at times too. esp when they made something and give to you, hug you so tightly and tell you they like you and will miss you. *awwww*
